Alkyd Colori anti-rust primer is a 1-component paint line made from alkyd resin, iron oxide and other additives; Has good adhesion, hard and flexible paint film, good weather resistance, easy to use.
Application:
Alkyd Colori anti-rust primer is used as the first primer layer on non-galvanized iron and steel surfaces. Suitable for use in indoor and outdoor structures.

Safety, Health and Environmental Information:
- Flammable liquid. Do not leave it near high temperatures, sparks or flames.
- On skin contact: May cause moderate skin irritation. Avoid prolonged contact with skin. Use gloves made from materials that are resistant to solvents. Use soap and water to wash away paint stains on the skin.
- When inhaled: Causes irritation to the respiratory system. Use only in well-ventilated area. Avoid inhaling paint dust. Use a respirator with a filter that can filter out organic solvents.
- On eye contact: Causes serious eye irritation and reduced vision. Use goggles that cover both eyes. If paint splashes into your eyes, wash with plenty of water and consult a doctor.
- When swallowed: Very dangerous if swallowed. Keep away from food, drinks and reach of children. If swallowed, see a doctor immediately and bring the paint container or paint label with you.
- In case of spillage, collect with soil or sand or suitable absorbent material. Do not pour paint into drains, ditches or water sources.
- Waste and empty containers should be treated and disposed of in accordance with national and local regulations. Empty containers and other packaging should be remanufactured, recycled or disposed of by appropriate authorities
Preservation and Storage:
Maximum 24 months. Store in a cool, dry place away from sparks and heat sources.
Do not remove the lid when not in use, place the paint can in an upright position.
Use immediately after removing the lid.

Surface preparation
The surface to be painted must be clean, dry, stable and free from dust, oil, grease or other contamination. Surface preparation methods depend on the type of surface and the conditions under which construction is being carried out.

Note: All equipment must be cleaned immediately with gasoline or petroleum jelly after use. Alternative solvents not specified or supplied by Colori Paint Company but used for dilution may seriously affect the product and are automatically not guaranteed or warranted.
Drying Time:
Drying time at 25°C to 30°C:
Surface dry: About 4 hours
Dry to handle: 12 hours
Transition time between 2 coats of paint: Minimum 4-8 hours
Environmental conditions during construction:
- Do not construct when humidity is greater than 85%. The temperature of the surface to be painted must be at least 3oC higher than the dew point.
- Do not apply when the ambient temperature is lower than 7°C. Because if applied, the drying time and transition time between coats of paint will be longer.
- Must ensure ventilation during construction, do not use near fire sources and do not smoke.
