Alkyd Colori anti-rust primer: This is a 1-component paint line, the paint film has high adhesion to the surface, the paint film is tough, and can withstand outdoor weather well. Alkyd Colori anti-rust paint is often used as a primer for black iron surfaces (non-galvanized iron).
Alkyd Colori oil paint: is composed of ingredients such as: alkyd resin, color active ingredients and some leather additives. Applied as a protective coating for surfaces and equipment with structures made from steel and wood.
Product needed for galvanized iron surfaces
Colori galvanized iron coating: this is a 1-component (1K) paint line made up of ingredients: acrylic resin, active colorants, and some additives. This is a paint line used to cover galvanized iron surfaces without the need for a primer layer.

To have a good, quality, technically correct paint layer to protect your project's surface, it is necessary to apply the correct steps of the standard construction process of Alkyd Colori oil paint. Depending on the surface, we need to have different methods of construction and use of products. But the common point is the surface treatment and cleaning step before construction.
1. Prepare the surface before applying paint
This is a very important step in the construction process. When the surface is well prepared, it will create a good foundation and increase the adhesion of the paint to the material.
Things to do to prepare the surface well:
- Use grinding discs, razors, sandpaper, and wire brushes to remove old paint layers and rust patches from iron and steel surfaces. It is necessary to use moderate force to avoid too much impact on the metal surface.
- For grease stains and old paint that are difficult to clean with traditional methods, chemicals used to remove paint from metal surfaces can be used. Detergents are inorganic chemicals (dilute sulfuric acid, chloric acid, etc.).
- Clean dirt from the surface, you can use water, but the surface must be completely dry before you can apply paint to the surface.

2. Apply anti-rust primer to metal surfaces (black iron, non-galvanized metal)
The anti-rust primer is only used for non-galvanized metal surfaces. Galvanized surfaces do not need this step.
After treating the surface and letting it dry completely, you can proceed to apply a primer layer to the metal surface.
Apply 1 to 2 layers of primer to the entire metal surface to be painted (each layer is 50 microns thick). The anti-rust paint not only helps prevent oxidation and rust on the metal surface, but also helps increase the bond between the metal surface and the Alkyd Colori coating.

3. Apply topcoat
For non-galvanized metal surfaces: apply 2 coats of Alkyd Colori oil paint to the metal surface with a thickness of 100 microns.
For galvanized metal surfaces: apply 2 coats of Colori galvanized iron coating for a surface with a thickness of 100 microns.
The color of the paint from you choose according to Colori's color chart.
The coating helps the surface to be waterproof, rust-proof, and resistant to harsh environmental conditions.

- If it rains during construction, it must be covered to prevent water from seeping in.
